A Note from John

I spend a significant portion of my life working in an office. I think about business strategy, financial performance, nonprofit operations, improving processes, solving problems, and helping others be the best they can be. The rest of my waking hours I spend with my family, leading a Bible study, going to church, and mentoring younger guys in business and life journeys.

I am coming to understand how life is not meant to be lived in compartments. For too long, I made work decisions without consideration of family or an explicit thought of how decisions may intersect with my faith.

Seven Days. Live it Out.

I have a desire to see people live out Biblical truth in every area of their lives, seven days a week, instead of compartmentalizing their spiritual life into a one-day-a-week experience.

Threads

The encounters, events and experiences of our lives comprise the threads that weave together and influence our lives. ThreadMatters is a place to explore how we can live an authentic life, grow in a personal journey of faith, and relate to others in a meaningful way.
