We are exploring life and discovering the basis of hope.  The threads of our life are woven together and also the threads of our lives are woven together.  These threads are categorized in three different ways, namely the encounters, events and experiences of our lives.  Encounters are interactions with people.  Events are significant milestones or major occurences in life.  Experiences include the activities and happenings of life.  All three of these types of threads influence who we are and how we relate to others. 

Some may have questions on why so many news feeds on our home page.  The events of the world affect all of us, directly or indirectly.  To have these featured on the site is one more way of connecting the threads of our lives.
